At the end of Diablo 4 Season 12, it's less about grinding nonstop and more about wrapping things up properly so you don't lose anything when the season rolls over Diablo 4 Items.

First thing to do is go through your season track and actually claim everything. It sounds obvious, but it's easy to forget, especially with the Reliquary-style battle pass. Double-check it and make sure you've grabbed all the cosmetics, currency, and any other rewards you've unlocked. The same goes for season journey milestones—if you're close to finishing one, it's usually worth pushing a bit to secure the reward before it disappears.

Once that's handled, you can spend whatever time is left strengthening your character. If your build is already in a good spot, focus on polishing it—upgrade your glyphs, finish tempering and masterworking your gear, and see how far you can push higher-tier content. Activities like Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, the Pit, and Infernal Hordes are still some of the best ways to get value late in the season, especially if you're aiming to squeeze out a bit more power.

It's also a good idea to clean up your stash before everything transfers over to Eternal. Seasonal mechanics won't carry forward, but your character and gear will, so you don't want to bring a mess with you. Keep your best ancestral items, useful uniques, and anything you might realistically use later. Everything else can be salvaged or cleared out so you're not dealing with clutter after the reset.

If you still have unfinished objectives, focus on the ones that actually help your character or give meaningful rewards. There's no real point in stressing over minor cosmetic goals if you're short on time. A simple approach is to rotate between something that gives solid loot and something that progresses your season track, so you're getting value either way.

It's also worth taking a quick look at your account-wide progress. Things like map completion, Altars of Lilith, and renown bonuses will help your future characters, so if you've been ignoring any of that, now's a decent time to finish it up.

If you're basically done with everything, you can just use the remaining time however you want. Some players like to push their build as far as it can go, try higher Pit tiers, or take on tougher bosses. Others just mess around and enjoy the season one last time without worrying about efficiency cheap Diablo 4 materials.

The goal is pretty simple: make sure you've claimed your rewards, tidy up your gear and stash, and leave your character in a good state before the season ends. That way, when everything moves to Eternal and the next season starts fresh, you're not looking back wishing you'd cleaned things up first.
